Micro & MicroPlus
Spirometers |
|
The Micro and
MicroPlus Spirometers are specifically designed for situations where a low cost
respiratory monitor is required. Selected for Heart-Lung transplant programs world-wide
and for major clinical trials in the respiratory field as well as for everyday physician
use. Their proven accuracy and reliability being endorsed with a British Design Award for
the Micro Spirometer in 1989 as well as customers world-wide with over 20,000
spirometers in daily use. The Micro Spirometer displays FEV1 and FVC, and the MicroPlus
Spirometer displays FEV1, FVC, PEF, and FER. |
MicroDL Spirometer |
|
The new MicroDL is specifically designed for both patient use at
home as well as large scale clinical trials featuring a memory capability for date and
time and the three most common respiratory parameters for over a months use. The Spirometer is fully compatible with Spida(TM) and is supplied with software to graph FEV1/FVC/PEF against time to allow an instant picture of patient performance. The Micro DL has the capability to act as a normal MicroPlus Spirometer with its proven accuracy and reliability at any time |
The MicroLoop 3535 |
|
Developed specifically for the professional, the next generation MicroLoop employs Micro Directs acclaimed precision Gold Standard Digital Volume Transducer which is especially suited to measuring very low flow rates in patients with COPD. The MicroLoop has a class-leading, very high definition paper-white screen and can display both Volume/Time and complete Flow/Volume Loops (using either the open or closed loop test techniques). The instrument can measure up to 36 spirometry parameters and has a database storage capacity for over 1000 patients. Comprehensive full-sized printouts are possible using an external Hewlett Packard or Canon printer (compatible models specified by Micro Direct) although the MicroLoop comes with its own suite of linkable PC software, it is also compatible with the new multi-window Spida 5. |

In addition to all of the standard features you expect, the SuperSpiros many unique features include a large color display, real time display of the full flow volume loop or volume time curve, childrens incentive, bronchial challenge test routine and a powerful trend package. The modular design of the SuperSpiro allows for the addition of a variety of optional respiratory tests such as Airway Resistance and Negative Expiratory Pressure. |
MicroDiaryTM Spirometer |
|
The MicroDiaryTM Spirometer
represents a new approach to data capture for use in clinical trials and therapeutic
monitoring. The MicroDiary Spirometer with its proven accuracy, long term stability and
reliability combined with a fully configurable electronic Diary facility is a major
