The SmartSat™ Pulse Oximetry Analyzer is the only tester that does the complete job by providing the industry's first Probe Analyzer. The Probe Analyzer includes a Probe Continuity Test that tests the probe independently and can thus isolate opens and shorts. Since most pulse oximetry failures are ultimately traced to the probe, SmartSatŐs Probe Analyzer can save you hours of troubleshooting time.

When you need a SpO2 simulator, why fool around with testers that use the optical "finger" simulation method? Most pulse oximeter manufacturers do not endorse optical finger simulation because it can actually introduce uncertainty into the SpO2 simulation test. SmartSat is the only universal SpO2 simulator, which uses the manufacturer-approved "direct electrical simulation" method to provide unmatched accuracy and reliability. In fact, SmartSat is used by leading pulse oximeter manufacturers and is emerging as the industry standard pulse oximetry tester.

SmartSat also allows you to document your test results efficiently. Automatic Data-Logging provides closed loop testing via a serial cables between SmartSat and the pulse oximeter. After testing, you can either print the results immediately or use Stored Printing to save the results for printing or up-loading at a later time. SmartSat can even up-load test results into popular equipment management programs such as Otis®/Profile® and medTester/ Sentinel.

R-Curves (Red/IR Ratio)

FullSwp - test every SpO2 point between 60 and 100 at 21 second intervals.

Automatic Data-Logging & Printing
Closed-loop testing of pulse oximeters can be achieved by connecting a cable between the "SERIAL COMM" port of the oximeter and the "RS-232" port of the SmartSat. Oximeter test results are automatically retrieved and displayed on the SmartSat screen; the test results can be printed immediately or stored for future printing. Serial data protocols supported: BCI, Criticare, Datascope, Datex, Hewlett-Packard, Nellcor, Nihon Kohden, Nonin, Novametrix & Ohmeda. Stored Printing
Stored Printing allows the user to save test results for printing at a later time or up-loading into popular equipment management programs such as Otis®/Profile® and medTester/Sentinel.

Remote Control
The SmartSat can be operated via remote control through its RS-232 port. In addition to duplicating all front panel operations, remote control commands include status query commands, a keypad lock command and a "warm-boot" command.
